Batting first, Havering got off to a shaky start losing Emma Honey for 2. However Ryan Hurley (40) and Ollie Williams (46)
batted well putting on 78 before both fell in quick succession. Dev Patel (36 n/o) and David Roe (52 n/o) carried on the
good work and Havering amassed 231-4 in their 45 overs.
In reply, Hullbridge were soon 66-4 thanks to fine bolwing by Colin Gentle. At 108-5 it looked like an easy win was on
the cards, but Hullbridge rallied with R. Palmer (79) and M.Palmer (36 n/o). Tight bowling kept the home side to 210-8
with Ryan Hurley and B.Gibbs taking one wicket each and two run-outs.

In reply, Havering had no answer to the might of the Old Chelmsfordians batting as they romped home by 8 wickets inside 33
overs. Colin Gentle and Tom Hobborough took one wicket each, both caught behind by Ollie Williams.

Havering travelled to Stock to play Billericay St. John. Bowling first, Havering got off to a good start reducing the home side
to 17-2 with Tom Hobborough and Jack Gibbs taking a wicket apiece. St. John rallied and the next wicket did not fall until
101. Wickets then fell at regular intervals and St. John finished their 45 overs on 194-9. Jack Gibbs (3-52) and Terry
Hobborough (3-27) were the picks of the bowlers, with Tom Hobborough (2-35) and Ryan Hurley (1-42) giving good support.
In reply, St. John were too strong for the Havering batters as they were all out for 103 inside 27 overs. Only Terry
Hobborough (39) and Tom Hobborough (20) managed double figures.

Havering skipper Mick Houghton won the toss and put Rayleigh into bat. Rayleigh were soon in trouble at 37-4, 3 further
wickets fell in quick succession leaving Rayleigh at 63-7. Connett & King then took the total to 3 figures, until Rayleigh
were eventually all out for 117 in 30 overs. Wickets were shared between the Havering bowlers, with Terry Hobborough
taking 2-12 & son Tom taking 2-13 being the pick of the bowlers.
Havering reached their target for the loss of 2 wickets in 25.1 overs, a 2nd wicket stand between Nick Hine (22 n/o) &
Reece Beechey (68) did the damage.
HABCC won by 8 wickets with almost 20 overs to spare.

Havering travelled to Great Wakerings ground to play Rankins III.
Batting first, Havering found the going tough as 5 wickets fell cheaply with the score on 36. Colin Gentle was the pick
of the batters ending up 25 Not Out as Havering managed only 95-7 in their 45 overs.
In reply, Ryan Hurley took three quick wickets to reduce Rankins to 30-3, but with such a small total to defend, Havering
were always going to struggle. Rankins passed the finish line in the 34th over for the loss of 6 wickets.

Havering lost the toss and were put into bat. Immediately they were in trouble losing 3 wickets without a run on the
board. Jack Gale & Terry Hobborough then put on 28 for the 4th wicket before Terry was out for 17. Wickets continued to
fall at regular intervals, Jack Gale top scoring with 27 & Tom Hobborough (10) the only other batsmen to reach double
figures. Havering were all out in the 18th over for 82. Smith took 5-24 & Pannell 4-36 were the pick of the Great Baddow
bowling.
In reply, 10 men Great Baddow were soon in trouble at 24-3. They then lost a further 3 wickets with the score on 37 &
their final 3 wickets with the score on 51. The wickets were shared between Mike Roe 5-24, Mitchell Walker 3-0 & Tom
Hobborough 1-12.

Havering travelled to Eastwood for their Div 11 clash. Havering lost the toss and were put into bat. Initially Havering
made heavy going of the start and at one stage were 54-5, Dave Roe having made 28 of those runs. Andy Hurley (35) and
Terry Hobborough (38) then put on 73 for the 6th wicket to steady the ship. Tom Hobborough (31) and Colin Gentle (23n/o)
added further runs resulting in Havering ending there innings on 208 for 9 off their 45 overs. Pick of the Eastwood
bowlers were skipper James Drabble 3-27 & J Ilbey 3-42.
Eastwood, only having 9 players available were always going to be up against it and were skittled out for 23 in 14.2
overs. Only 4 Havering bowlers were used and they were all amongst the wickets, Mike Roe 2-7, Tom Hobborough 2-6, Colin
Gentle 3-5 & Ryan Hurley 1-4.
Havering won by 185 runs.

Havering were put to the sword against a strong St. Andrews side which included the prolific ex-indian premier league
batman, Varghese. He scored 181 on his own as St. Andrews piled up 331-8 in their 45 overs. Mick Houghton took 4 wickets
and Tom Gentle 4 wickets, including the prize wicket of Varghese.
In reply, it was just a matter of saving face, as the target was well out of reach. James Lavender (47) and Reece Beechey
(40 were the pick of the batsmen, and they were well supported by Ollie Williams (27) and Kernal (22) but Havering could
only manage 176-8 in reply.

Havering lost the toss and were put into bat in what turned out to be the worst of the weather. After a steady start,
wickets fell at regular intervals and Havering were eventually all out for 97 in the 34th over. Reece Beechey and Dave
Roe both top scored with 20 each. Pick of the Hullbridge bowling was Byford who took 4-24.
In reply, Hullbridge lost early wickets & at one stage they were 28-4, until Byford who had a fine all-round game scored
42 to take Hullbridge to the brink of victory. The visitors reached their target for the loss of 7 wickets in the 31st
over.

The first league game for Havering 4th XI saw them put up a spirited performance against South Woodham Ferrers III.
Batting first, South Woodham scored 169 before being bowled out in the 44th over. Reece Hurley was the pick of the bowlers
taking 4-44 in 12 overs with Colin Gentle 3-29 and Jack Gibbs 2-19 giving fine support.
Havering struggled against the tight bowling of Pritchard (4-15) and Cruickshank (3-27) and were all out for 106 inide 34
overs. Only Tom Mitchell (54) managed to get in as Havering lost by 63 runs.
